The ideal candidate must be:
- Aggressive
- Fast paced
- Experienced in selling a service ideally transportation services
- Organized
- Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time
- Personable to build relationships with customers to promote Miller Transfer's services
- Willing to work hard and a commitment to a consistent daily sales effort
- Desire a 4 year degree in business management or marketing
The day to day responsibilities' are to:
- Research the territory to develop a strategic sales plan
- Soliciting new accounts and selling all of Miller's services
- Providing continued quality service to existing accounts and obtaining additional freight opportunities
- Daily sales efforts to include cold calling, follow up on leads and performing telemarketing calls. Also will participate in machine shows, power generation shows and conferences
- Through your consistent sales efforts perform an average of 7 confirmed sales calls per day
- Responsible to submit administrative & sales reports weekly
