Southeast Sales Manager

The ideal candidate must be:

  • Aggressive
  • Fast paced
  • Experienced in selling a service ideally transportation services
  • Organized
  • Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time
  • Personable to build relationships with customers to promote Miller Transfer's services
  • Willing to work hard and a commitment to a consistent daily sales effort
  • Desire a 4 year degree in business management or marketing

The day to day responsibilities' are to:

  • Research the territory to develop a strategic sales plan
  • Soliciting new accounts and selling all of Miller's services
  • Providing continued quality service to existing accounts and obtaining additional freight opportunities
  • Daily sales efforts to include cold calling, follow up on leads and performing telemarketing calls. Also will participate in machine shows, power generation shows and conferences
  • Through your consistent sales efforts perform an average of 7 confirmed sales calls per day
  • Responsible to submit administrative & sales reports weekly
