Heavy-Haul - Services - Details
Whatever your heavy-haul challenge, Miller Transfer will apply our decades of experience toward finding a solution – one with up to a 400,000-lb capacity.
What Is a Heavy-Haul Load?
While there is no specific definition of a heavy-haul load, Miller Transfer classifies any commodity that measures 65’ long or longer, or 14’ wide or wider, or 15’ overall height or higher, or has a weight of 60,000 lbs or greater.
These loads require specialized equipment and longer permit lead times.
Whatever the load, it requires complex planning, specialized trailers, as well as overweight permits prior to shipment. Miller Transfer has an in-house permit department and works directly with governing authorities in all 50 states to ensure your load is moved as efficiently as possible.
Miller Transfer applies our decades of field experience to understand your high-value project needs and help you achieve your goal. Starting with our in-house project management team, we will help design a comprehensive plan that includes configuring the exact equipment, procuring all the required permits and escorts, and assigning one of our skilled drivers. All to safely and effectively guide your heavy-haul to its destination.
