Miller Transfer Caters to
Power Generation Industry

On November 19-21, Miller Transfer will be one of 900-plus exhibitors at POWER-GEN® International, the world’s largest power generation event. The 2019 show, being held in New Orleans, Louisiana, is expected to bring together more than 20,000 industry professionals for a multi-track summit, exhibition and comprehensive networking.

Typical show attendees vary from large machinery and component manufacturers to engineering/procurement/construction (EPC), remediation, 3pl/forwarding, power companies and the U.S. government. With valuable, high-profile and time-sensitive items that require special transportation coordination, these organizations are looking for the unique equipment, skilled drivers and successful experience that Miller Transfer can provide.

“We’re continually adding equipment to our vast fleet that fits the unique needs of this industry,” says David Cochran, Miller Transfer Vice President, Sales & Marketing. “POWER-GEN gives our customers the opportunity to learn more about this equipment and how it can serve them – whether it’s lower deck trailers for over dimensional items, our new Faymonville trailer that allows flexibility when handling heavy weights, or trailers that don’t require permits when empty in an outage or emergency situation.”

Miller Transfer has in-depth experience in nuclear, oil/gas, coal, hydro, steam and electric segments. Our teams are well versed in the level of communication, coordination and attention to detail necessary to create cost-effective, comprehensive transportation solutions, for power generation components. And we have a proven track record of successfully handling these items from initial planning through delivery, time and time again. “That’s especially important in the powergen/nuclear world where you just can’t take chances,” notes Cochran. “Miller Transfer recognizes that no detail is too small.”

Miller Transfer has exhibited at the POWER-GEN show for more than a decade. “It’s a great way to meet representatives of the power generation industry, from suppliers to users,” says Cochran. “We connect with current contacts and customers, create new opportunities and learn about all the new and exciting things happening within all segments of the powergen industry.
