Miller Transfer Trade Show Service

You and your team have spent months preparing for your industry’s largest trade show. You’ve developed the displays. You’ve designed the graphics. You planned the lighting. And you’ve polished and painted the equipment. All to turn heads, drop jaws and start smart conversations with prospective customers.

Every year, hundreds of manufacturers and suppliers just like you have their products transported to trade shows across North America for exposition. And the transportation company they trust most is Miller Transfer.

Miller Transfer has more than 50 years of transporting shipments in and out of trade show venues. And during that time, we’ve learned what truly matters to our customers. Yes, they want a large fleet of flexible equipment options that can handle virtually any haul, from legal flatbed loads to those weighing up to 400,000 lbs. They want innovative sliding tarp systems and air-ride suspension to help keep their cargo secure and undamaged during transport. And they want highly skilled drivers that understand the value of on-time delivery and proper handling.

But, most of all, Miller Transfer trade show customers benefit from having a single point of contact – one centralized communications hub that serves as a real-time liaison between our drivers, onsite representatives, show services, operations and the customer team. This one contact ensures that everyone is on the same page, every step of the way, for a smoother, more expedited experience. “All of the Miller reps at the hall work together to make sure that loading happens in a timely manner,” says Miller Transfer’s Chicago Business Development Manager. “We know exactly where our drivers are in line versus someone getting lost in the system.”

In fact, Miller Transfer is one of the few companies that, at larger shows like FabTech and IMTS, has a representative on site to readily address customer concerns. “Our customers can be anywhere – at the show or in their warehouse looking at inventory – and they can speak with us immediately. We're right on the floor and can address their concerns,” says Miller Transfer’s Chicago Terminal Manager. “That’s huge. Our customers know that, with Miller Transfer, they get that hands-on service.”

Miller Transfer’s Business Development Manager in Milwaukee agrees. “Being onsite, we’re watching our customers’ booths when they aren’t. We’re making sure everything gets loaded out. We’ve seen giant signs almost left behind. We’ve filled out incident reports when their equipment gets damaged by riggers. We’ve corrected customer paperwork. Just by being onsite Miller Transfer saves our customers time and money.”

And that hands-on service goes far beyond just the venue. “On our way to IMTS one year, we had very heavy rains,” recalls the Milwaukee Business Development Manager. “Interstate I-94 in Indiana was closed, along with other state highways. We had to find alternate routes to keep our equipment on time. That’s what our customers expect – when they use Miller for a tradeshow, they know that we’ll take care of everything, big and small.”
